This is how I pay tribute to the King of Pop. When I was a lil nigga I used to think Mike was a pimp in the Billie Jean video cuz the sidewalk used to light up when he was on the stroll. Then when I was a preteen we got blessed with Def Comedy Jam and all the young niggas they brought to our attention, one of the coldest of those being A-Town native Chris Tucker. Not only responsible for creating the ‘New Jack Swing’ sound, he completely changed modern soul music, flipped it, and took it back to the streets again. This is a mix that certifies what a genius hitmaker he was in both hip-hop and R&B.
